41,401,903 cars were produced worldwide. The biggest companies which produce cars are as followed:



The Hyundai car factory in Ulsan, South Korea is the biggest car factory in the world in terms of production:



The Lada factory AvtoVAZ in Russia is known as the second biggest car factory in the world. It produces nearly one million cars a year. It has over 90 miles (144 km) of production lines and is unique in that most of the components for the cars are made in-house:



The 3rd biggest car factory is this Toyota plant in Totyota city in Japan. Toyota is the seventh largest company in the world and the second largest manufacturer of automobiles, with production facilities in 28 nations around the world. Toyota’s largest facility outside of Japan with an production of 500.000 cars each year is the Toyota manufacturing plant in Georgetown in Kentucky, USA. It has the highest production of any foreign plant in the US and is one of the biggest in the world:


The 5th biggest car factory is from the biggest car producer in the world: General Motors. The Oshawa factory in Oshawa, Canada is their biggest facility. The 6th biggest car factory is the Fourd Rouge plant in Detroit, USA. Over 100,000 workers were employed there in the 1930s. At that time it was the biggest car factory in the world:



Other car factories which belong to the world biggest are the Volkswagen factory in Wolfsburg in Germany, the Audi car factory in Ingolstadt in Germany ( Audi headquarters ), this Fiat factory in Turino in italy, and the Volkswagen plant in Peubla Mexico:
